iEARN Youth Summit 2011 Diary II

July 17, 2011

Flight from the land of smile to the heart of Asia:
My flight was CI 840, China Airline to KHH (Kaohsiung International Airport). This was the best airline in my life :-)

Part I: Before Departure
I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport,at 1.30 p.m.  It was big and crowded airport. There were also many shops, you know many people told me that when you go to the airport, don’t forget to shop in duty free shop. I was very impressed in the world’s famous brands in every shop; there are brand name products like Gucci, Dior, Louis Vuitton etc. I was very surprised by their price, too.
I want to tell you my most impressed story, it was about my innocence which made me loss my thing at the airport. It was my scissors, I’ve never known about the flight’s rule before, I brought the scissors in the bag which I would carry to the plane. There is the rule which order you not to bring the weapons or something that can be the weapons on to the airplane. So, I had to leave my scissors there.  My beautiful scissors, I’m sorry. ;(

Part II: During Flying

                I’m above the cloud
Which I’ve ever seen from the ground
                Looking the land, looking outside
Seeing this blue sky makes me smile

Part III: Arrival, the Land of Love River, Kaohsiung

After arrived at the airport, two people from i-EARN Taiwan picked us up to our hotel. It was dark, now. Outside the van’s window, I watch the falling rain. The city is civilized and calm.
I arrived at Garden Villa (hotel) at 9.50 p.m. I met i-EARN Taiwan Team for registration and then I went to my room, 321. Being the last member of the room, I woke my friends up and said “Sorry, I’m student from Thailand” (my first English sentence there)
My roommates were 2 Australians and a Taiwanese. They were so cute and friendly. They spoke English very well. My roommates were just 12-14 years old but they were braver and smarter than a 17-years-old girl like me. I regarded this very much, the age was just number, we were all friends there.

There is no successful life if you don’t practice yourself
and do your best!

iEARN Youth Summit 2011 Diary I

                July 16, 2011
                The Day before Going
“The road to destination always have inspirations and experiences” This was the day before the first flight in my life, the first time that I go abroad to Kaosiung, Taiwan.
                Without any friends?
                Alone?

No, not alone I’ll go with 2 English teachers from Thailand.
I was just only one Thai student in this summit.
Alone by theory, not alone in mind
I believe I could find the way
Change loneliness and know how to survive
I would past many obstacles with courage and smile
Wish I could make new friends
And forgot this strange poem for awhile :)

My suitcase and ticket was ready
                I believe I can fly
                Jia you! (Go! Go!)
